Federal Criminal Records search directly accesses the Federal crime
repository to identify criminal convictions at the Federal level. Federal
criminal charges include, but are not limited to, securities and tax law
violations, immigration and weapons violations, interstate drug crimes,
terrorism, civil rights violations and violations of federal laws.
Since Federal crimes involve extremely serious offenses, this search is
highly recommended. The Federal criminal search is conducted at each
individual State's Federal Courthouse and will provide a minimum of 7 years
criminal history. Each state has a federal court, therefore this search is
performed on a State-by-State basis and cannot be conducted nationwide.
