Should I choose County or Statewide criminal searches?
County criminal record searches provide the most up-to-date information available and counties may take some time before reporting to the state. Therefore, American DataBank suggests a County criminal search whenever you are sure of which County an individual has lived in or if you think that there has been recent litigation.

The Statewide search is an excellent resource for researching an individual who might have lived in several Counties or if you are unsure of which County the person lived in. Not all states are available for statewide criminal record searches, please see above for availability.
